I watched the screening of Another Earth today. If you could meet the other YOU, that lived on a parallel earth, what would you say?
This got me thinking about the way I see myself and my inner and outer world. What do I currently say to myself, what are my thoughts about myself?
When you realise that people you feel drawn to reflect your inner self back at you, and you act as a mirror for them as well, it's easy to see the beauty and perfection that is you.
Our relfection in the mirror is often distorted by socially constructed ideas of beauty and perfection.
Be loving and respectful to all people and to yourself, and you will attract individuals that will love and respect you back. Nurture compassion and empathy and let the goodness you see in others be your mirror.
What do you see when you look at me? Do you see parts of you?

Eternal Optimist: Desire
Optimism: Desire with belief.
If you desire with doubt, then it's as good as not coming.
If you desire with doubt, then it's as good as not coming.
1. What do you desire in your life?
2. Is it followed with anticipation or doubt?
3. Are you willing to dream or do you hold yourself back based on the past?
4. Do you turn your full attention towards the fullfilment of your desire?
The only consensus you need is the desire within you.
Choose what you want for your life.
You can get to wheverever you want to be from where you are.
One step at a time!
Choose what you want for your life.
You can get to wheverever you want to be from where you are.
One step at a time!
Expect good things to come to you!
You have the right to choose!
Happiness is not something you get, it's something you do!
What do you desire?
Do you trust your own decision?
You are not judged on how 'right' you are.
Have you made your list of what you should do, so that you can feel better?
Line up with what you think you want!
You have control over your happiness.
Line up with what you think you want!
You have control over your happiness.

Life lessons: Pain
1. You are more than you are going through.
2. Time heals. Sometimes it is what it is. This too shall pass.
3. Contrast gives you an indication of what you do and don't want.
4. Relationships teach you more about who you are.
5. Allow yourself to feel the fullness of pain so that you can feel the fullness of desire.
Inspiration
You cannot hold onto people, the past, thoughts and things in order to fill spaces of emptiness and assumed loneliness. I say assumed because you are never truly alone. Loneliness is a choice of sepearting a part of yourself from the self that you have forgotten.
Wherever you are is a good place, because from where you are you can choose something different. But only if you make peace with where you are.
- Let go of guilt.
- Make a decision to make peace with where you are, and choose something new!
- Find ways to soften your perspective of where you are and you'll be able to move on.
Remember what it is you desire for your life! You now know what you don't want, and contrast shows you what you do want! Focus on that which you want! Be happy in anticipation of receiving that which is coming!
(inspired from Abraham:: Allowing)
Look at where you are in life and say:
"Here I am, it's temporaray but here I am! And it's alright. Here I am on my way to better and better."
- Let go of guilt.
- Make a decision to make peace with where you are, and choose something new!
- Find ways to soften your perspective of where you are and you'll be able to move on.

Happy Spaces
I love Paris, especially this time of year, and as I sit in Joburg with 3 degrees celcius at night, I can't help but dream of an apartment along the champs-elysees!

Life moments
“You have to take risks. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen” :: Paulo Coelho
"Be here now, and know the beauty of what is. Free yourself from concerns about what was, or anxieties about what will be." - Ralph Marston

3 things I learnt this weekend
1. There's always more than one right answer, love, option, path, possibility, nuance, or flavor...
2. Every experience you have is a part of your learning
3. Taking time to connect with nature brings you closer to your self and allows a space for clarity
