the way he makes me feel
“My heart stopped. It just stopped beating. And for the first time in my life, I had that feeling. You know, like the world is moving all around you, all beneath you, all inside you, and you’re floating. Floating in midair. And the only thing keeping you from drifting away is the other person’s eyes.”

make every second count
"For any of us our forever could end in an hour, or a hundred of years from now. You can never know for sure, so you'd better make every second count."

Change
There are moments in life, when we go through difficult times, and it seems like a journey with little light at the end of the tunnel.... sometimes that light seems like a distant illusion and the light within us is so low, that we can't seem to find a way out.
There are moments when we feel completely alone in a world filled with so many people and so much going on around us, and nothing makes sense, and it seems like no one understands or comprehends the space that you are in.
You feel like you are on a rollercoaster - just when things start looking up, you tumble to the bottom, not sure which way is next.
And in these moments, our insecurity peaks and wanes with each twist and turn, as the journey seems to never end.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel, and with each step you move closer to that place where everything will make sense again.
And in that moment, you realise that this journey has stretched you, and you have learnt and grown and that you are not the same person you were when you entered the tunnel. You have braced the challenges and somehow you managed to get through it all. And when you take an even closer look, you find your inner strength and your courage, you forgot you had, but that got you through.
You are new. You are strong. You have grown.
This is life... a journey. It doesn't wait for you to sort your "stuff" out. This is it.
As you go through challenges and feel like there are moments in life that you just can't get through, remember the last time you were faced with a similar situation and the strength you had deep within you that got you to where you are today and the people that were by your side to support you.
Stay strong - you're not alone.

just curious
self esteem check
The quest for success is generally driven by what we perceive the world expects from us. In short, our paradigm for success vests with others rather than being part of who we are. How can we ever be happy when we are motivated by the opinions of others, rather than a sense of self-worth? Such thinking is a slavery or a bondage rather than an expression of self.
(clive harvey fox)
Your self esteem is not eroded by what others say to you, but by what you say to yourself, when the other person has walked away.
